On aTypical Week, You Will:
Implement data collection and management processes, ensuring accuracy and integrity Conduct audits, identify discrepancies, and implement corrections Perform data entry, queries, and analysis to support reporting and operations Prepare and analyze reports for internal and external stakeholders Support compliance reporting and ensure alignment with federal, state, and organizational requirements Monitor data quality and perform cleanup, corrections, and system troubleshooting Manage data migration and system updates, ensuring information is transferred accurately Support database maintenance, including backup, recovery, and optimization Collaborate with departments to understand data needs and provide solutions Respond to data requests and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders Maintain strong data security practices and protect sensitive information, including HIPAA and other regulatory standards When data is accurate and reliable, people can trust what they're seeing, make informed decisions, and deliver more consistent care. What We're Looking For We're seeking a Data Management Specialist who is detail-driven, analytical, and solutions-oriented—someone who can work with complex data while keeping the bigger picture in mind. This role requires someone who understands that when data is accurate and reliable, co-workers can make better decisions and the organization can deliver more consistent, effective care. . Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED Experience working with electronic systems, databases, or technical platforms Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Health Informatics, or a related field Experience working with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems Experience training staff or developing system documentation Familiarity with healthcare workflows, billing processes, or clinical documentation Experience supporting system implementation, upgrades, or process improvement initiatives Experience in a healthcare, nonprofit, or behavioral health setting Bilingual (Spanish/English) or experience working with diverse populations Required Qualifications Experience working with databases, data management, or reporting systems Proficiency in SQL or similar query languages Strong analytical and problem-solving skills High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to interpret and work with complex data sets Strong organizational and project management skills Clear written and verbal communication skills Ability to collaborate across teams and departments Understanding of data privacy and compliance requirements, including HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field Experience with healthcare or behavioral health data systems Experience with compliance reporting or regulatory data requirements Familiarity with EHR systems and data integration Experience supporting system upgrades, migrations, or process improvements Experience in a healthcare, nonprofit, or behavioral health setting Bilingual (Spanish/English) or experience working with diverse populations The Qualities That Will Help You Thrive Detail-oriented — you ensure data is accurate, consistent, and reliable Analytical — you can interpret complex information and identify meaningful patterns Solution-focused — you approach issues with curiosity and follow-through Clear communicator — you translate data into information others can understand and use Collaborative — you work effectively across teams to meet shared goals Organized — you manage multiple data streams and priorities with accuracy Adaptable — you navigate changing systems, requirements, and priorities Mission-aligned — you understand that strong data supports strong care Benefits & Compensation At ARC, we believe caring for others starts with caring for our team. Compensation $29.66-$34.11 per hour for a 32-hour workweek Equivalent to approximately $49,354.24-$56,757.38 annually , not including any additional hours worked Work-Life Balance Four-day workweek (32 hours) for all ARC staff 10 paid holidays each year. Many convert to floating holidays if worked or if they fall on your regular day off Vacation and sick time begin accruing immediately up to three weeks of vacation and two weeks of sick time earned during your first year Health Coverage (ICHRA Model) As a full-time employee, you will be eligible for benefits on the first day of the month following your first 30 days of employment. ARC provides health coverage through an Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangement (ICHRA) , allowing you to choose the individual health insurance plan that best fits your needs.
