Position Title Data, Testing, & Accountability Intern (Unpaid) Department Data, Testing, & Accountability / Student Information Systems Supervising Director Director of Data, Testing, & Accountability Internship Type Unpaid Academic Internship Start Date June 10, 2025 End Date July 17, 2025 Duration 6 Weeks Hours Per Week 20 hours/week Total Hours 120 hours Work Schedule To be determined with the supervising director Work Location On-site
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & SKILL AREAS
1. Tableau Data Visualization Review existing Tableau dashboards for accuracy and currency of data Update visual elements, filters, and calculated fields as directed Assist in building new views or modifying existing reports to meet department reporting needs Document changes made to Tableau workbooks and data sources 2. Cleanup in Association with Visuals Audit student records for data entry errors, inconsistencies, or missing information Perform corrections to student demographic, enrollment, and program data as assigned Follow established data entry standards and district data governance protocols Flag systemic data quality issues for supervisor review and action 3. Microsoft Excel Skills Use Excel to organize, clean, and prepare data sets for reporting or import Apply functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, IF statements, COUNTIF, pivot tables) to analyze data Assist in creating summary reports and data comparison tools as directed Support data validation checks between systems using Excel worksheets
