Job Description
We are looking for a Data/Information Architect to help unify complex operational data within a wholesale distribution environment in Hartland, Wisconsin. This Long-term Contract position will lead the design of a scalable data architecture that brings together information from fleet activity, maintenance operations, service records, parts, and warranty sources to support timely, informed business decisions. The role centers on building a trusted data foundation, improving visibility into performance and cost trends, and enabling future-ready analytics capabilities across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Architect a centralized data framework that consolidates information from vehicles, service operations, parts activity, maintenance platforms, and warranty-related sources.
- Develop and manage integrations between internal and external systems using APIs and data connectivity solutions to ensure reliable data movement into Microsoft-based analytics environments.
- Create automated workflows for warranty validation and claims analysis, reducing reliance on manual review and improving process consistency at scale.
- Design and deliver Power BI and Microsoft Fabric reporting solutions that provide actionable insight into fleet performance, service efficiency, warranty patterns, and operational metrics.
- Analyze distributed operational data to identify recurring equipment issues, cost leakage, downtime drivers, and opportunities to improve asset utilization.
- Establish data governance practices, including standards for quality, consistency, structure, and stewardship across interconnected data sources.
- Partner with business and technical stakeholders to define architecture priorities that support real-time visibility and long-term analytical maturity.
- Serve as a technical leader in modernizing fragmented data processes by building scalable, AI-ready data capabilities across the business.
