Production Packer Temporary and possible Temp to Hire Opportunities

IN TURNERS FALLS, MA

Responsibilities Position pallets of case blanks, carton blanks, tape and other supplies to appropriate line positions with pallet jack, Set up change over boxing lines, assemble machine parts, adjust controls according to work order, fill taper, check 1st run samples. Carefully pack finished goods according to specified standards and procedures to ensure product integrity during transit Inspect products for quality issues, damages, or defects before packing Use hand tools and assembly line equipment to assist in packaging processes Maintain cleanliness and organization of packing stations to promote safety and efficiency Follow safety protocols at all times, including proper handling of machinery and materials Assist in inventory management by accurately recording packed items and updating stock levels Collaborate with team members on assembly line tasks to meet daily production targets Report any mechanical issues or equipment malfunctions promptly for maintenance Support warehouse operations by loading, unloading, and storing materials as needed Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience is highly preferred Hands-on experience with assembly lines Mechanical knowledge related to machinery used in packaging and manufacturing processes Familiarity with manufacturing safety standards and protocols Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately If you are motivated by precision, safety, and contributing to high-quality production processes, we encourage you to apply today.
