Day Supervisor

Description:

An individual in this position would be responsible for the implementation and oversight of all activities performed by contractor personnel as it relates to, and operations of the contract.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Under the direction and supervision of the Project Manager, the duties include, but are not limited to: Implementation and supervision of work as required by the contract. Frequent inspection of buildings and/or contract work. Overseeing and/or performing all quality assurance requirements as stated in the Quality Assurance Plan. Maintain supply & equipment inventory to ensure all supplies necessary are available and ensure all equipment is in proper working order. Maintaining ongoing constructive communication with the PM to assure implementation of the contract. Implementing systems set forth by Contract Administration to improve efficiency and quality of contract requirements. Assure all regulated health standards are met per contract specifications. Maintaining accurate records of inventory, and other requirements of the contract or as directed by the Project Manager. Assist in making workers schedules and ensuring schedules are followed to assure timely work completion. Completing time study requirements as assigned to meet the Dept. of Labor Standards Establish and maintain a productive work system to ensure timely completion of work Other related duties as required or assigned.

General knowledge of nighttime crew activities and steps needed to be maintained to ensure timely completion of work.

ABILTIES

Knowledge and ability in the methods and techniques of supervision and timely completion of work related activities per contract. Ability to provide effective staff supervision & timings. Ability to deal effectively with government public and contractor personnel. Ability to follow appropriate chain of command. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Knowledge and ability to perform statement of work as required by the contract. Ability to perform effective quality assurance of services provided High School diploma or GED
