Daycare Assistant

Job Overview:

I am seeking a dedicated and compassionate Daycare Assistant to join our home daycare. As a Daycare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children. This job would be 2 days per week to start. Hours would be 9:30-4:30.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in providing care and supervision for children in a home daycare
• Promote positive behavior management techniques to ensure a safe and respectful environment
• Assist with classroom management, including maintaining cleanliness and organization
• Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of the children

Skills:

• Experience working with children, preferably in a daycare, preschool, or educational setting
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices
• Strong caregiving skills, including feeding, diapering, and comforting young children
• Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with diverse groups of children.
