Daycare Teacher Job Summary:

I am seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join my team. The ideal candidate will have experience in childcare and education, with a focus on providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. As a Daycare Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, fostering social and emotional development, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in your care.

Duties:

• Develop and implement lesson plans that promote learning through play
• Provide a safe and supportive environment for children to explore and grow
• Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
• Monitor and assess children's progress, identifying areas for improvement
• Maintain a clean and organized home setting
• Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities

Experience:

• Previous experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting
• Knowledge of special education practices and techniques
• Familiarity with infant care best practices
• Ability to educate and engage students of varying ages
• Experience in nannying or childcare services
• Proficiency in home management strategies
• First aid certification is preferred
• Background in preschool or toddler care is a plus

Requirements:

• Passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Patience, creativity, and flexibility in adapting to children's needs
• Minimum of [2] years of experience in childcare or education
• Firstaid/CPR certified is a must
• Knows American Sign Language
