Job Description
Responsibilities:
Provide support to PMS 404 HWT and LWT Principal Assistant Program Managers (PAPMs) in the test and evaluation of new weapons systems. Draft and route correspondence relating to T&E projects. Facilitate communications between the warfare centers, the program office, and the Technical Warrant Holders. Coordinate with other program offices as necessary to accomplish programmatic goals. Responsible for writing summaries of at-sea test results, including highlights for senior leaders. Provide direct support for planning and coordinating all T&E related matters, including scheduling, and keeping records of all pending and closed issues. Responsible for reviewing test documents and providing comments to the PAPMs/T&E director. Attend all T&E and System Engineering meetings and provide a meeting summary to the PAPMs/T&E director. Responsible for supporting and coordinating with external agencies such asOTF, DOT&E, OPNAV N94/N97/N98, ASN
(RD&A) about T&E documents. Attend weekly synch meetings on all programs with PMS 404 and Navy Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC). Support the Quarterly Program Review at NUWC and all other meetings in support of the T&E Director.Education and Experience:
2 years of experience in Test and Evaluation/engineering management fields. Bachelor's degree in engineering or another technical curriculum. Experience with MS Teams and MS Office Suite Knowledge and understanding of Navy (or other DOD Service) Budgeting. Experience in using office routing tools and creating workflows. Active DOD Secret clearance The ability to prioritize workloads.Desired Education and Experience:
5 years of experience in Test and Evaluation/engineering management fields. Experience as a submarine warfare qualified officer or with weapons systems on submarines and surface ships, ensuring they are properly maintained and ready for launch. Prior experience supporting a U.S. Navy weapons program office. Capable of performing tasks without constant reminders; ability to recognize and complete adjacent tasking without direction.Work Location:
Washington Navy Yard. Telework options for 1-2 days per week after all initial onboarding and team integration is completed (estimated 2-4 months). Telework subject to change at the direction of the customer.Travel:
