  • Your role and responsibilities
  • As a Project Manager for Cloud Solutions, you will oversee the successful delivery of cloud-based solutions to clients, managing project scope, cost, schedule, and deliverables to ensure alignment with service orders or contracts.
You will employ project management techniques such as the Garage Method for Cloud, Design Thinking, and Agile Delivery Model to drive project success.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
    Lead Delivery Teams:
    Lead the delivery team and interface with client project managers and other stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
    • Build strong relationships with the DCSA client stakeholders
    • Manages day to day activities of the project
    • Provide weekly and monthly status reports including project plans update to teh DCSA clients
    • Manages project financial including forecasting, tracking and reporting related financial data
    • Provides support in planning, executing and reporting on code onversion, development and testing
    • Review and provide recommendations regarding test documentation
    • Participates in daily and weekly meeting with client staff
    • Generates weekly status report for the client
    • Updates project plan weekly
    • Review deliverables for accuracy and completeness
    • Works and collaborates with the client stakeholders for project related issues and topics
    • Experiecne with Agile practices
    • Participate in other Governance meetings

    DCSA RTE
    Lead, Technical Lead and Business Lead to coordiate activites in support of deliveryThe candidate should have the following experience/expertise:
    • Detail-oriented
    • Manage all aspects of project management
    • Analyze existing project scope and associated processes and recommend improvements where appropriate
    • Optimize internal and external communications and sharing of information
    • Take initiative, self-starter, problem solver, can work with minimal supervision, produces quality deliverablesExperience with MS Project
    • Required technical and professional expertise
    • Must possess at time of hire and have the ability to maintain a Top-Secret Clearance
    • Experience working with client leadership (10 years)
    • Experience working with Agile teams (8 years)
    • Experience in all phases of the project management (10 years)
    • Excellent communications skills.
    • Must have experience managing team in a high pace environment. 7 years
    • Must be proficient at analyzing, summarizing and reporting. 3 years
    • Must be able to plan, prepare and execute for iterative development, 3 years
    • Must be able to create detailed Project Plans. 7 years
    • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook and Access)
    • 5+ years of experience in the Public Sector/Federal Government projects
    • PMP Certification
    • Good communication skills verbally and in writing and has ability to interface with the customer
    • Preferred technical and professional experience
    • Cloud Architecture Knowledge:
      Deep expertise in designing and implementing cloud architectures, including hybrid and multi-cloud environments, is beneficial. Experience with cloud architecture frameworks and design patterns is also valuable.
    Advanced Project Management:
    Experience with advanced project management techniques, such as SAFe Agile or ITIL, is advantageous. Knowledge of project management tools, like Jira or Asana, is also desirable.
      Emerging Cloud Technologies:
      Familiarity with emerging cloud technologies, such as serverless computing, edge computing, or cloud-native applications, is a plus. Understanding of their applications and potential benefits is also beneficial.
