Assist drivers with unmanageable horses during post parades Assist drivers with unmanageable horses while approaching the starting gate Assist in catching loose horses Communicate with Starter and Judges regarding potential safety issues created by unmanageable horses Communicate with Track Crew regarding track conditions, loose horse procedures, etc. Use extreme care and horsemanship to provide safety to all horses and horsemen racing at Dover Downs Work in high-traffic area with respect to horses and horsemen Provides exceptional customer service Works safely, following all established safety rules and regulations Communicates effectively with co-workers, supervisors and guests Follows all relevant policies and procedures Perform other duties as assigned.
Work Environment:
Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and nights as scheduled
