$60,000-$75,000 per year, based on experience Palmer Industries is seeking a polished, relationship-focused Dealer Development Representative to support and grow our network of showroom, dealer, designer, and trade relationships. This is a field-based relationship and dealer development role focused on showroom support, display maintenance, account follow-up, dealer communication, and new dealer onboarding. The ideal candidate does not need to be highly technical, but must be able to represent a premium manufacturing brand, communicate clearly, navigate complex business relationships, and understand company policies. This role works closely with the inside sales team, marketing team, operations, and leadership to ensure dealers are supported, displays are maintained, marketing materials are current, and new opportunities are developed in a thoughtful and professional way. Key Responsibilities Visit existing dealers, showrooms, and trade partners on a regular schedule. Maintain strong relationships with showroom owners, managers, sales staff, designers, and trade contacts. Support dealer displays, samples, literature, pricing information, and overall product presentation. Inspect and maintain showroom displays to ensure they are accurate, clean, current, and properly presented. Work with the marketing team to ensure dealers have current literature, samples, display materials, product messaging, and brand-support materials. Work with the inside sales team to coordinate dealer follow-up, account needs, quote-related questions, custom requests, and order-specific details. Help onboard new dealers and coordinate showroom display setup. Identify and pursue new dealer, showroom, designer, and trade account opportunities. Communicate dealer programs, policies, expectations, and brand standards clearly and professionally. Navigate complex account relationships while maintaining consistency with company policies. Train showroom staff on product positioning, selling points, customization options, and how to work with Palmer. Follow up on dealer needs, opportunities, display issues, and account activity. Represent Palmer at dealer visits, trade events, regional meetings, and industry functions. Gather field feedback and communicate opportunities, concerns, and market trends to internal teams. Maintain accurate account notes, visit records, and follow-up items in company systems. Travel regularly for dealer visits, showroom support, trade meetings, and account development as needed. Requirements 3-5 years of experience in account management, dealer development, showroom sales, trade sales, business development, customer relationship management, or a related relationship-based role preferred. Strong communication, follow-up, and relationship management skills. Ability to represent a premium or luxury brand professionally. Comfortable navigating business relationships, policies, pricing structures, and account expectations. Ability to balance relationship-building with consistency, professionalism, and brand protection. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a schedule with regular dealer and showroom visits. Comfortable visiting showrooms, dealers, designers, and trade partners in person. Ability to work independently while maintaining clear communication with inside sales, marketing, and leadership. Basic computer skills and ability to maintain account notes and follow-up records. Valid driver's license and clean driving record required. Willingness to travel regularly for dealer and showroom visits. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with dealers, showrooms, designers, architects, builders, or trade professionals. Experience in luxury goods, kitchen and bath, interiors, architectural products, building materials, or custom manufacturing. Prior experience supporting displays, samples, dealer programs, or regional account growth. Experience representing a brand in the field and building long-term business relationships. Experience coordinating with sales and marketing teams to support customer-facing programs. Compensation Compensation is $60,000-$75,000 per year , based on experience. Candidates with strong dealer development, account management, showroom, trade sales, relationship management, or luxury brand experience are encouraged to apply.Pay:
