Job Description

An established manufacturing company in Warwick, RI is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Operations Coordinator / Analyst to support daily operations, production workflow, inventory accuracy, reporting, ERP data, and continuous improvement efforts. This is not an entry-level role. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in manufacturing operations, inventory, production support, ERP systems, administration, quality, or process improvement. This position works closely with production, inventory, quality, engineering, sales support, and management to improve accuracy, communication, and follow-through across the business. Key Responsibilities Support daily production workflow, open order tracking, work order status, inventory movement, and operational priorities. Create and maintain reports, spreadsheets, trackers, and follow-up lists for operations leadership and department leads. Review work orders, BOMs, inventory records, production updates, and operational data for accuracy. Identify delays, shortages, discrepancies, and process gaps, and communicate them to the appropriate team members. Support accurate use of the company's ERP system. Help maintain clean, consistent operational data across departments. Assist with inventory accuracy, cycle count follow-up, material movement tracking, and shortage reporting. Support quality tracking, inspection documentation, rework trends, and corrective action follow-up. Help coordinate communication between production, inventory, purchasing, engineering, sales support, and management. Document processes and assist with standard operating procedures. Support continuous improvement projects related to workflow, inventory, reporting, ERP use, and operational efficiency. Follow up on open action items from operations meetings and special projects. Requirements 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing, operations, inventory, production support, ERP administration, office administration, quality, or a related role preferred. Strong Excel and spreadsheet skills required. Experience with ERP systems preferred. Strong organizational, analytical, and follow-up skills. Ability to work with production teams, office staff, managers, and department leads. Comfortable reviewing work orders, BOMs, inventory data, production records, and operational reports. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify errors, patterns, and process gaps. Clear communication skills and the ability to keep tasks moving across departments. Manufacturing, fabrication, or custom-product experience preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate or bachelor's degree in business, operations, supply chain, engineering, or a related field preferred, but not required with strong experience. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a custom manufacturing or make-to-order environment. Experience supporting production, inventory, purchasing, quality, or shipping teams. Experience creating reports, dashboards, trackers, or process documentation. Ability to bridge communication between the shop floor, office staff, and management. Continuous improvement or lean manufacturing experience is a plus. Candidates with strong manufacturing, ERP, inventory, reporting, Excel, administration, or process-improvement experience may be considered at the higher end of the range.
