  • Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Parts Manager with previous Dealership Parts Manager Experience

In this pivotal role, you will oversee inventory control, supplier relationships, procurement processes, and customer service to ensure seamless operations and optimal parts availability. Your leadership will drive efficiency, enhance dealership performance, and deliver exceptional service to our customers. Duties Manage the entire parts inventory, including ordering, stocking, and tracking to maintain optimal levels using inventory management systems. Develop and nurture strong relationships with OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) suppliers and vendors to secure competitive pricing and reliable supply chains. Oversee procurement management, including sourcing parts, negotiating prices, and managing purchase orders through ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems like AS400 or similar platforms. Coordinate logistics for shipping & receiving, ensuring timely delivery of parts while maintaining accurate data entry and inventory control records. Lead warehouse management activities such as organizing storage areas, operating forklifts safely, and ensuring compliance with safety standards like HVAC or equipment repair protocols. Implement demand planning strategies to forecast parts needs based on automotive service schedules and dealership sales trends. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting technicians and customers with automotive diagnostics, sourcing hard-to-find parts, and resolving issues efficiently. Utilize automotive repair knowledge to support auto body repair processes and equipment repair tasks when necessary. Requirements Proven experience in dealership or automotive parts management with a strong understanding of supply chain management principles. Familiarity with supplier management, sourcing strategies, procurement processes, and negotiation skills to optimize costs. Hands-on experience with inventory management systems such as ERP platforms (e.g., AS400), order management systems, or similar tools. Mechanical knowledge related to automotive diagnostics, auto body repair, HVAC systems, or equipment repair is highly desirable. Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification preferred but not mandatory. Strong organizational skills with experience in warehouse management, shipping & receiving, and logistics coordination. Knowledge of automotive service operations and OEM parts sourcing practices. Excellent data entry skills combined with attention to detail for maintaining accurate records in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) or similar software. Exceptional customer service abilities coupled with effective negotiation skills for supplier relations. Physical ability to manage warehouse activities including lifting equipment or parts as needed; adherence to safety standards required.
