Dedicated Truck Driver

Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. As a Dedicated Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations. This position requires a valid driver's license and the ability to be on time every time. The main emphasis is on the nightly run, requiring you to drive and physically unload, reload and then drive again and unload the trailer on a nightly basis.

Duties:

• Safely and efficiently operate trucks to transport goods and materials
• Plan routes and ensure timely delivery of shipments
• Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, such as hand pallet jack.
• Perform routine inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition
• Report any mechanical issues or accidents to the appropriate personnel
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Proven experience as a tractor-trailer Truck Driver
• Ability to operate different types of trucks
• Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance is a plus
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
• Physical stamina to handle loading/unloading of cargo
