Duties As a Deli Associate, your primary responsibilities will include: Preparing and slicing deli meats and cheeses to customer specifications. Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the deli area, including equipment and work surfaces. Assisting customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering questions about products. Operating Scale System Ensuring compliance with food safety standards and regulations at all times. Collaborating with team members to maintain efficient service during peak hours. Performing bagging of bulk food items when the deli is slow. Experience The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience: Previous experience in a grocery store is preferred. Basic math skills for handling transactions and measurements accurately. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
