As the Deli Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our deli department, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. Experienced with Boars Head products preferred. Duties

• Manage all aspects of the deli department, including ordering, cooking, inventory control, and product rotation
• Hire, train supervise deli staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations
• Create and maintain a positive work environment, fostering teamwork and employee development
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices
• Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability of the deli department
• Monitor customer feedback and address any concerns or issues promptly
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate deli offerings with store promotions and events
• Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and employee schedules Experience To be successful in this role, you should have:
• Previous experience in a deli preferably knowledge of Boar's Head items
• Strong knowledge catering operations
• Proven ability to interview, hire ,train, and develop employees
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building relationships with customers
• Knowledge of food service regulations and best practices in food safety
• Familiarity with coffee preparation techniques is a plus
