Deli Part-Time

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of deli products, including sandwiches, salads, and hot food items
• Assist customers with their deli orders and provide excellent customer service
• Maintain a clean and organized deli area, including sanitizing surfaces and equipment
• Receive and stock deli products, ensuring proper rotation and freshness
• Operate deli equipment such as slicers, ovens, and fryers
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the safety of customers and coworkers
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently

Skills:

• Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members
• Basic math skills to handle cash transactions and calculate weights and measures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and food preparation techniques
• Attention to detail to ensure accurate portioning and presentation of deli products
• Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive work environment
