Responsibilities Prepare a wide range of deli products including sandwiches, salads, cold cuts, cheeses, and other specialty items with precision and care Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales transactions Provide friendly, attentive customer service by assisting with product selection, answering questions, and upselling items to enhance sales Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the deli area by regularly cleaning surfaces, utensils, and equipment in accordance with food safety regulations Manage food inventory levels, restock displays, and monitor expiration dates to ensure freshness and quality Handle cash transactions accurately while balancing registers at the end of each shift Support food preparation tasks such as slicing meats and cheeses using proper techniques and safety procedures Experience Previous experience in food preparation or food service roles within quick service or fast-food restaurants is highly preferred Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Background in culinary arts or kitchen experience enhances your ability to excel in this role Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety standards is essential for maintaining high-quality service Retail math skills for accurate cash handling and sales reporting are beneficial Experience working in grocery stores or cafes adds valuable insight into retail food environments Join us to bring energy, enthusiasm, and exceptional service to our vibrant deli team!
