Delivery Driver

Duties Safely operate box trucks and commercial vehicles with manual transmission to deliver products across designated routes. Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques, ensuring items are secured properly for transit. Follow planned delivery routes efficiently while adapting to traffic or route changes to meet delivery schedules. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting clients professionally, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction upon delivery. Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including logs of deliveries made, receipts obtained, and any discrepancies noted. Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety standards are met and report any mechanical issues promptly. Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management, moving stock within the facility, and preparing shipments for dispatch. Qualifications Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, with familiarity in route driving and load & unload procedures. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks safely; physical stamina is essential. Experience operating forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus; certification is advantageous but not required. Knowledge of warehouse operations and safety protocols related to heavy lifting and vehicle operation. Comfortable working independently in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.
