CW Garage Door Distribution is currently seeking a delivery driver. CWGDD owns and operates its own fleet of delivery trucks and trailers. We are looking for applicants that have an upbeat attitude, as it is their faces that are often associated with the company and its products. Drivers are not required to have a CDL, but a DOT medical card is required. CWGDD services customers within a 175-mile radius.

Job Details:

Provide safe, effective, and efficient delivery of all company products. Assist customers in the unloading process while coaching them in proper handling procedures of the products. Keep all proper driving records up to date (i.e. time, mileage, receipts, logs). Monitor the maintenance needs on all trucks and trailers and inform the warehouse lead of any defects or problems. Calling customers in advance with the ETA of deliveries. Obey all traffic laws and speed limits. Ensure all delivery paperwork is signed by the customer. Collect payments from COD customers and return them to the accounting administrator. Inform the operations supervisor of any product returned from customers. Clean all trucks and trailers after completing each delivery route. Will have split time responsibility as a warehouse associate when no delivering. Ability to operate equipment in various weather and traffic conditions. Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned. Able to work in a fast-paced and self-directed environment. Building customer rapport and providing information that is obtained while delivering that pertains to our business. Highly proficient and professional communication skills both verbal and written. Capable of learning quickly and retaining critical information. Self-motivated to make decisions, solve problems, and think creatively. Maintains a professional work appearance. Able to frequently lift and walk carrying 50+ pounds. High School diploma or GED equivalent required. Valid driver's license (minimum Class D) with a clean driving record. Prior gooseneck driving experience preferred but not required. DOT medical card, Pre-Employment Drug Screening and a Background check are required This is a day time position (35-40 hours per week). Starting wage is $22
