Responsibilities Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products to customers across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Manage delivery schedules efficiently, optimizing routes for timely arrivals and minimizing delays. Engage with customers professionally, providing excellent service and addressing any questions or concerns they may have. Handle heavy lifting of packages or merchandise with proper technique to ensure safety and efficiency. Upsell additional products or services when appropriate, enhancing customer satisfaction and sales opportunities. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures, receipts, and route logs. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic maintenance checks to ensure vehicle safety and readiness. Experience Proven experience in commercial driving or delivery roles with a clean driving record. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple deliveries and prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with customers and team members. Knowledge of route driving techniques and familiarity with GPS navigation tools. Ability to perform math calculations accurately for pricing adjustments or change handling. Physical capability for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or walking during shifts. Experience in sales or upselling strategies is a plus. Military background or disciplined training in logistics can be advantageous for this role.
