Delivery Driver

Benchmark Woodworks is located in Portsmouth, VA. We are a commercial millwork construction company. We specialize in commercial interior woodworking and multi-family trim, door install, and many other things with over 25 years of experience. We are seeking a full-time delivery driver who has experience with loading/unloading a truck and making deliveries.

Fast-paced Responsibilities:

Clean cabinetry/countertops before loading on delivery vehicle. Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport cabinetry to customers Load and unload products from the vehicle. Provide excellent customer service by delivering items in a timely and professional manner Follow delivery schedules to ensure on-time deliveries Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including proof of delivery documentation Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations during deliveries

Requirements:

Required:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Required:

English Speaking Required:

Ability to operate various types of delivery vehicles, such as box trucks, transit vans, and pick-up trucks

Required:

Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately

Required:

Physically capable of lifting and moving heavy items as needed. Up to 150 lbs.

Preferred:

Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role.

Preferred:

Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with customer

Preferred:

Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries.

Hours:

Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30
