Delivery Driver

Overview We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting and operate various types of vehicles, including box trucks. • Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks, while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
• Load and unload products using manual handling techniques and equipment such as pallet jacks.
• Plan and follow efficient routes for timely deliveries, ensuring all packages arrive at their destinations in good condition.
• Provide outstanding customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and delivery confirmations.
• Handle any issues that arise during the delivery process with professionalism and problem-solving skills. Skills
• Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
• Familiarity with route driving and navigation tools to optimize delivery efficiency.
• Experience operating box trucks and understanding of manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required during loading and unloading processes.
• Knowledge of safety regulations related to transportation and delivery operations.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining delivery records.
