Delivery Driver

Job Summary Looking for a 1099 delivery driver. This role involves meeting at the warehouse at 6 AM to scan all packages and number them. Place them correctly in the vehicle by stops and numbers. Need a reliable phone with a data plan to download the delivery app for navigation and customer requests. Routes can go anywhere from Santa Clarita to Palmdale, to Lancaster. Will take pictures of packages and scan the barcode of packages. There will be 24/7 dispatch availability for any problems or concerns on a route. This is a dedicated route. We will discuss pay. Must have a clean vehicle (Car or SUV) with good registration and insurance.

Verify delivery orders, obtain signatures, and document all deliveries accurately Navigate efficiently using route maps or GPS to meet delivery schedules and optimize routes Provide outstanding customer service by communicating clearly, answering questions, and addressing concerns professionally Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine safety checks before and after each shiftSkills Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier with a strong understanding of route driving principles Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally Experience operating commercial vehicles such as box trucks with manual transmission capabilities Ability to lift heavy items safely during load & unload processes; physical stamina is essential Strong driving record with knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations Ability to adapt quickly to changing routes or schedules while maintaining punctuality. Must have proper work attire.

Pay:

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
