Delivery Route Driver

Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Route Driver to join our team. As a Route Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to various locations. This position requires a motivated individual with excellent communication skills, a valid New Jersey driver's license, NO POINTS, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Duties:

• Operate Company owned vehicles, including box trucks and vans
• Load and unload food and beverage goods from the vehicle
• Restock shelves and coolers. Rotate product as needed
• Plan and follow designated routes to ensure timely delivery and service
• Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues
• Complete necessary documentation and maintain accurate records of inventory deliveries
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license and a copy of your Driver Abstract
• Proven experience as a route driver or in a similar driving role
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to safely operate various types of vehicles
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
