Job Title:
Customer Service Associate Job Description The Delivery Service Dispatcher supports daily operations by generating cases for billing disputes and coordinating service for CO2 tanks. This role involves logging incoming calls, creating service tickets, scheduling and dispatching field service, and assisting with billing issues, gas refills, and equipment safety concerns. The position requires strong attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and clear communication with customers and internal teams. New hires receive three weeks of classroom instruction followed by one week of hands-on training with a supervisor to ensure they are fully prepared for success. Responsibilities Log incoming customer calls accurately and in a timely manner. Create detailed service tickets for CO2 tank service, gas refills, and equipment safety issues. Schedule and dispatch service technicians to customer locations based on priority and availability. Generate and manage cases related to billing disputes, ensuring all relevant information is captured. Assist customers with questions or concerns related to billing, service orders, and equipment. Perform manual order entry and update records in the system with high accuracy. Coordinate logistics for service calls to ensure efficient routing and timely completion. Use Microsoft Office and other computer systems to document activities and maintain organized records. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve complex service or billing issues. Follow established procedures and safety guidelines when handling equipment-related service requests. Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail. Provide professional and courteous customer service during every interaction. Participate in and complete the structured training program, including classroom and hands-on components. Adapt to a flexible schedule, including weekend work, to meet operational needs. Essential Skills Customer service experience with the ability to handle inquiries and issues professionally. Dispatch or logistics coordination experience, including scheduling and routing service calls. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications for documentation and communication. Basic computer navigation skills and comfort working with multiple software systems. Experience with manual order entry and clerical tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. Ability to work weekends and maintain a flexible schedule as required. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate records and timely follow-up. Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly. Additional Skills & Qualifications Prior experience in a call center, dispatch, logistics, or related customer service environment. Familiarity with handling billing disputes or similar case management tasks. Experience supporting field service operations or coordinating service technicians. Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize in a high-volume setting. Interest in long-term career growth within a structured and supportive environment. Work Environment This is an onsite position in an air-conditioned office setting with a collaborative, team-oriented atmosphere. New hires participate in a structured training schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for three weeks of classroom instruction, followed by one week of hands-on training with a supervisor. After training, schedules vary across eight positions, including shifts such as 10:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. (Tuesday/Wednesday), 11:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. (Tuesday/Wednesday or Thursday/Friday or Thursday/Saturday), 12:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. (Tuesday/Wednesday), and 1:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m. (Tuesday/Wednesday, Wednesday/Thursday, or Sunday/Thursday). The office provides modern equipment and systems to support dispatch, order entry, and communication tasks. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stuart, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
