The Demand Planner will be responsible for forecasting customer demand and planning inventory to support company sales goals. This role manages all aspects of demand analysis, forecast modeling, and purchasing strategy, leading up to the creation and internal approval of purchase orders (POs). The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, deep understanding of supply/demand dynamics, and experience in planning within an e-commerce, wholesale, or manufacturing environment.

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and sales insights Translate forecasts into inventory requirements and purchasing strategies Create, review, and finalize POs based on approved demand plans Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance to ensure alignment on forecast assumptions Maintain planning models and update data regularly to optimize forecasting accuracy Ensure PO details (quantities, pricing, lead times) are complete and accurate before handoff Work closely with Production Planner to ensure seamless transition of approved POs Analyze forecast accuracy and adjust planning strategies as needed Support inventory optimization by avoiding stockouts and overstock situations Identify and implement planning process improvements

Qualifications:

3-5 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain analytics, or forecasting Strong analytical and Excel modeling skills Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite is a plus) Detail-oriented with ability to translate data into actionable plans Strong communication and collaboration skills Background in e-commerce, drop-shipping, or wholesale is a plus Experience in supplement or sports nutrition industry a plus Benefits 10 days PTO 5 sick days 10 paid company holidays Medical, Dental, Vision Discount on all products!
