Job Overview We are a growing, patient-focused dental practice seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, warm and proactive Dental Administrative Coordinator/Dental Front Desk to join our vibrant dental practice. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming experience while managing essential administrative functions. Your energetic approach and excellent organizational skills will help streamline daily operations, support clinical staff, and enhance patient satisfaction. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a collaborative team dedicated to delivering exceptional dental care. Duties Greet patients warmly and provide outstanding customer service at the front desk, ensuring a positive first impression Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility checks, and handle insurance verification processes Schedule patient appointments efficiently Manage patient check-in and check-out procedures with professionalism and accuracy, including intake documentation and updating medical records Process payments, perform medical collections, and handle billing tasks with precision using dental office management software Maintain accurate dental and medical records, review documentation for completeness, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations Answer phone systems with excellent phone etiquette, address patient inquiries, and coordinate appointment reminders Assist with dental coding tasks and documentation review to support billing accuracy Support clinic operations by managing filing systems, handling dental office supplies, and performing clerical duties such as data entry Collaborate with clinical staff to facilitate care plans and ensure seamless communication between patients and providers Experience 2+ years previous experience in a dental environment is required Strong communication skills (confident, friendly, clear) Strong knowledge of dental terminology and dental billing practices Demonstrated ability to manage insurance verification processes Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with health information management systems Comfortable discussing finances and insurances (preferably strong understanding of PPO insurance) Prior experience with multi-line phone systems and front desk operations Exceptional customer service skills combined with strong organizational abilities to handle administrative support efficiently Join our team to make a meaningful impact on patients' lives through exceptional administrative support!
