Dental Administrator Mesquite Premium Dentistry Mesquite, TX Job Details Part-time $20 - $23 an hour 11 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Dental Administrator to lead our dental practice's administrative operations with energy and precision. In this vital role, you will oversee daily clinic functions, manage patient scheduling, handle financial transactions, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. Your proactive approach will help create a seamless patient experience while maintaining efficient office workflows. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in medical office management, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for supporting healthcare teams in delivering exceptional dental care. Duties Manage all aspects of clinic administration, including patient scheduling, appointment confirmations, and follow-up communications to optimize patient flow and satisfaction Oversee billing, coding, and insurance claims processing using dental-specific EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix to ensure accurate and timely reimbursements Maintain meticulous medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure confidentiality of patient information Supervise front desk staff and administrative support personnel, providing training and guidance to foster a high-performing team Coordinate with dental practitioners and healthcare providers to facilitate smooth clinic operations and support acute care or complex treatment plans Monitor clinic budgets, manage fiscal responsibilities including billing accuracy, collections, and financial management tasks to support practice sustainability Ensure compliance with healthcare standards such as JCAHO accreditation requirements and managed care protocols Skills Dental software knowledge (Dentrix, Open Dental, Eaglesoft, etc.) Insurance billing knowledge Communication and customer service Organization and multitasking Leadership and problem-solving Basic accounting and reportin. Extensive experience in medical office management within dental or healthcare settings, with proficiency in EMR/EHR systems like Opendental Strong knowledge of medical terminology, dental terminology, and medical records management.
