Dental Assistant

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant (CDA/OJT) to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office. As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with dentists and other healthcare professionals to support various dental procedures and maintain a safe, organized environment. Duties Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials. Maintain infection control protocols to ensure patient safety and compliance with health regulations. Take and develop dental X-rays, ensuring accurate imaging for diagnosis. Manage patient records, including updating medical histories and documenting treatment plans. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Operate 3D scanners for advanced imaging techniques as required. Skills Proficient in infection control practices to maintain a sterile environment. Familiarity with dental terminology to effectively communicate with the dental team. Experience in dental assisting, including chairside assistance during procedures. Competence in taking X-rays while adhering to safety protocols. Capability to monitor vital signs accurately and respond appropriately. Strong organizational skills for managing medical records efficiently.
