Dental Assistant

Dental Assistant Position Available Job Summary:

Join our dynamic dental team as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant to join our growing team. You'll complete initial patient triage, assist the doctor in four-handed dentistry, treatment alongside the front office team, sterilize instrumentation and perform chart reviews on a regular basis. We are looking for someone with incredible customer service skills and a passion for providing excellent dental care. Duties:

• Perform four-handed dentistry alongside the dentist
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with medical documentation standards
• Implement aseptic techniques and adhere to infection control protocols
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth workflow in the clinic

Experience:

• Expanded Functions Dental Assistant Certificate required
• At least 2 years of experience as a dental assistant
• Current CPR certification
• An understanding of OSHA and HIPAA regulations and all dentistry safety guidelines
• Able to stand up for long periods of time to administer procedures
