Dental Assistant

Job Summary We are a quality dental practice in Ridgewood Queens seeking a dedicated, responsible, and friendly person to join our team. We will train you for the position of dental assistant. You will learn how to assist and perform many dental procedures. The candidate must be able to work independently and have good communication skills. Spanish speaking is a plus. Responsibilities Assist dentist during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials. Take and record vital signs to ensure patient safety and comfort. Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during treatments. Maintain accurate medical documentation and assist with medical coding as needed. Ensure the dental clinic is clean, organized, and adheres to aseptic techniques. Manage patient records and appointment scheduling, acting as a dental receptionist when required. Provide support in general dentistry procedures. Qualifications Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Ability to learn new procedures and perform them to high standards. Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to all health regulations.
