Dental Assistant

We are a small family dental office located in Upland, CA, seeking to add a team member who can provide excellent customer service and patient experience. This is a long term position. We're looking for someone who is self motivated and a team player. New Grads welcome, we are willing to train. We are mainly looking for someone to fill in on Monday-Wednesday with more days possible.

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Dental Assisting:

  1 year (Preferred)
• New Grads welcome

License/Certification:

• Registered Dental Assistant (Preferred)
• X-Ray Certification (Required)
• California Dental Practice course (Required)
• Infection control course (Required)
• Health care worker CPR (required)

Duties:

• Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms for patient appointments
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments according to industry standards
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices
• Manage inventory and supplies in the dental clinic
• Perform dental receptionist duties when needed
• Utilize medical imaging software for diagnostics
• Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed
• Maintain accurate medical documentation
