Dental Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during dental procedures
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
• Take and develop dental x-rays
• Perform dental charting and documentation
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
• Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office calendar
• Assist with dental receptionist duties as needed
• Maintain infection control protocols and ensure a clean and safe environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a dental assistant program or relevant certification
• Knowledge of infection control protocols and procedures
• Familiarity with medical terminology, systems, and coding
• Proficiency in dental documentation software (e.g., Open Dental, CAD)
• Experience with dental radiography and imaging techniques
• Second language :

Spanish is a Plus .

• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
