  • Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our dynamic property management team.
In this vital role, you will support the overall operations of residential or commercial properties, ensuring exceptional tenant experiences and efficient property performance. Your energetic approach and strong organizational skills will help foster positive relationships with tenants, vendors, and team members while maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations, including Fair Housing laws and Section 8 guidelines. Duties Assist in managing daily property operations, including leasing, rent collection, and maintenance coordination Support lease administration processes, including lease signing, renewals, and terminations, ensuring compliance with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) and other regulatory requirements Utilize Yardi and OneSite property management software for data entry, reporting, and tenant record keeping Handle customer service inquiries via phone and email with professionalism and courtesy, maintaining excellent client relationships Conduct property tours for prospective tenants, upselling available units and amenities to maximize occupancy rates Support legal administrative tasks such as preparing contracts, reviewing landlord-tenant law compliance, and managing eviction procedures when necessary Coordinate property maintenance requests with vendors and facilities management teams to ensure timely resolution of issues Maintain accurate filing systems and records related to tenant files, contracts, inspections, and legal documentation Assist in conflict management by mediating tenant concerns professionally while adhering to Fair Housing regulations Support office administrative functions such as data entry, filing, phone etiquette, and general clerical duties Experience Prior experience in property management or real estate administrative roles is highly preferred Familiarity with LIHTC programs, Section 8 housing vouchers, and Fair Housing regulations is advantageous Proficiency in Yardi or OneSite property management software is a plus Experience with legal administrative processes related to landlord-tenant law and contracts is desirable Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle conflict effectively and negotiate solutions Office experience involving data entry, filing systems, CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), and administrative support tasks required Knowledge of facilities management practices including property maintenance coordination is beneficial Excellent phone etiquette combined with negotiation skills to upsell units or resolve tenant issues efficiently Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to providing exceptional housing experiences!
