Dental Assistant

Seeking to hire a highly motivated dental assistant for a privately owned practice. Salary negotiable. Our primary focus is delivering high quality patient care in a compassionate environment. The right candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask. Our goal is to add a positive, reliable, career oriented individual to our team. Our office is open Monday-Thursday and one Friday per month. Working hours are 8am-5pm. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Prepare operatories for procedures
• Select and set up instruments, equipment and materials needed
• Welcome and seat patients
• Ensure patient comfort throughout procedures
• Disinfect and sanitize operatories and instruments
• Assist the dentist chairside
• Obtain digital dental radiographs
• Undertake lab tasks as instructed
• Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
• Keep the dental operatories clean and well-stocked
• Manage inventory of dental supplies
• Schedule appointments
• Maintain accurate patient records
