Dental Assistant

Responsibilities Assist the dentist during restorative, surgical, endodontic, and cosmetic procedures Prepare treatment rooms by setting up instruments, materials, and equipment Sterilize and disinfect instruments in accordance with OSHA and CDC guidelines Perform intraoral scanning and assist with impressions and temporary crowns Suction, retract, and maintain a clear operative field during procedures Chart existing conditions and treatment performed Review medical histories and update patient records Provide patients with pre- and post-operative instructions Monitor patient comfort and vital signs when necessary Pour, trim, and label study models Assist with lab cases, including packaging and tracking outgoing/incoming cases Ensure compliance with infection control protocols Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality Qualifications Dental Assistant certification X-ray certification Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience in a private practice required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented and organized Team player with a positive attitude Benefits Competitive pay (based on experience) Paid time off Health insurance 401k Why Join Us?
