Duties Assist endodontist varies endodontics procedures and ensuring all instruments and materials are prepared and sterilized according to infection control protocols. Operate dental imaging equipment such as X-ray machines and CBCT to capture accurate images for diagnosis and treatment planning. Manage electronic medical records (EMR systems) like PBS Endo to document patient information accurately while maintaining HIPAA compliance for patient privacy. Take vital signs and medical histories of patients to support comprehensive care and ensure safety during procedures. Provide chairside assistance with aseptic technique, dental terminology, and anatomy knowledge to facilitate efficient treatment delivery. Uphold infection control standards through proper sterilization procedures, use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), and adherence to OSHA guidelines. Collaborate with the team using four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize patient care efficiency and comfort. Experience Prior experience working in a dental clinic setting is highly preferred, especially with general dentistry endodontic dentistry practices. Familiarity with dental assisting procedures including X-ray techniques, vital signs measurement, infection control practices, and aseptic technique is required.
