Job Description

Summary As a Dental Assistant, you will be an integral part of the dental team, providing chairside assistance and supporting various dental procedures. Your core skills in chairside assisting, dental terminology, and aseptic techniques will be essential in ensuring efficient and safe patient care. With premium skills in EMR systems and HIPAA compliance, you will also be responsible for maintaining accurate patient records and upholding confidentiality standards. Your relevant skills in medical documentation and coding will further enhance your ability to assist in various dental specialties, such as prosthodontics and oral surgery. Qualifications Chairside assisting Dental terminology proficiency Experience with 3D scanner technology Knowledge of general dentistry procedures Familiarity with medical and dental terminology Ability to assist in prosthodontics and oral surgery Skilled in aseptic technique and maintaining cleanliness Understanding of human anatomy for dental procedures Experience with Eaglesoft software Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and Dentrix software Familiarity with pediatric dentistry and X-Ray imaging Ability to perform dental receptionist duties Proficient in four-handed dentistry techniques Competent in taking vital signs and medical imaging Understanding of medical records and coding procedures Responsibilities Assist the dentist during procedures by providing chairside support. Utilize X-Ray equipment to capture images for diagnostic purposes. Maintain aseptic technique to ensure a clean and safe environment. Use dental terminology accurately in patient interactions and documentation. Review and document patient information accurately, including vital signs. Utilize anatomy knowledge to assist in procedures effectively. Perform four-handed dentistry techniques when required. Assist with dental receptionist duties using Eaglesoft software.
