Summary As a Dental Assistant, you will be an integral part of the dental team, providing chairside assistance and supporting various dental procedures. Qualifications Chairside assisting Dental terminology proficiency Experience with 3D scanner technology Knowledge of general dentistry procedures Familiarity with medical and dental terminology Ability to assist in prosthodontics and oral surgery Skilled in aseptic technique and maintaining cleanliness Understanding of human anatomy for dental procedures Experience with Eaglesoft software Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and Dentrix software Familiarity with pediatric dentistry and X-Ray imaging Ability to perform dental receptionist duties Proficient in four-handed dentistry techniques Competent in taking vital signs and medical imaging Understanding of medical records and coding procedures Responsibilities Assist the dentist during procedures by providing chairside support. Utilize X-Ray equipment to capture images for diagnostic purposes. Maintain aseptic technique to ensure a clean and safe environment. Use dental terminology accurately in patient interactions and documentation. Review and document patient information accurately, including vital signs. Utilize anatomy knowledge to assist in procedures effectively. Perform four-handed dentistry techniques when required. Assist with dental receptionist duties using Eaglesoft software.
