Dental Assistant

Tarpon Shores Dental is a small, well established general dental office located in beautiful Englewood, Florida. The practice is part of a small emerging Dental Service Organization called Shore Dental Partners. We are currently looking for a Dental Assistant. The ideal candidate can be a recent graduate from an accredited Dental Assisting School or someone with 1-3 years of DA experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Clean and prepare operatory rooms. Prepare and maintain dental instruments, supplies and equipment. Assist with hygiene, as needed. Taking dental radiographs (if licensed). Taking patient medical history, blood pressure and pulses. Serving as an infection control officer, developing infection control protocols and preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment. Helping patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment. Entering patient information into charting system. Handling reception/seating/and dismissal of patients.

REQUIREMENTS

New Dental Assistant graduate or 1-3 years of prior DA experience. A passion for the dental industry. A passion for helping others. Kind Compassionate Excellent communication skills.
