Dental Assistant - Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

We are a well-established private oral surgery practice located in Towson, MD and are looking for the right person — not just anyone, to join us as an entry level surgical dental assistant. What We're Looking For:

A dependable, hardworking attitude and willingness to help wherever needed Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with patients and the surgical team. Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, patient care, and sterilization technique. Ability to maintain a calm, professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Assist the dentist during dental procedures Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments Take and record patients' vital signs Provide chairside assistance to the dentist Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care Take digital dental x-rays Maintain accurate and detailed patient records

Experience:

Dental assisting: 1 year

• Required License/Certification:

  X-Ray Certification
• Required CPR
• Preferred Infection Control
