Dental Assistant / Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)

We are looking for a skilled, reliable, and friendly Dental Assistant or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our dental team in Arcata, CA. This is an entry to intermediate-level position with opportunities to grow in a supportive and team-oriented environment. Training will be provided for motivated candidates.

BASIC DUTIES

Assist the doctor chairside during dental procedures Room set-up and break-down Take dental x-rays (Radiation Safety certification highly desirable) Sterilization of instruments (infection control certificate required) Maintain clean and organized treatment areas Assist with general cleaning and operatory preparation

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Willingness to assist at the front desk when needed Support other areas of the dental office as a team member Help ensure smooth daily office operations

REQUIREMENTS

1+ year of dental assisting experience preferred Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) preferred Infection Control Certificate required. X-ray (Radiation Safety) certification is highly desirable Friendly, reliable, patient, and team-oriented personality Willingness to learn and be trained in multiple roles
