Job Description

Job Overview We're a welcoming, patient-focused dental office looking for someone who enjoys helping people and being part of a team. If you like a mix of hands-on clinical work and interacting with patients at the front desk, this could be a great fit for you! You will be the friendly face patients see first, guiding them through their visit while supporting the dental team with essential administrative and clinical tasks. Your expertise will help foster a positive patient experience, streamline office workflows, and uphold the highest standards of health information management. Duties Greet patients warmly, verify insurance coverage, and assist with patient intake and scheduling using Eaglesoft Manage multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette, answering inquiries and directing calls efficiently Prepare treatment rooms, assist dentists during procedures, and ensure all dental instruments are sterilized and ready for use Verify insurance benefits, perform insurance verification, and handle medical billing Review and update patient records accurately within Electronic Health Record (EHR) Assist with coding procedures for accurate documentation review and billing processes Maintain organized medical records, file documents securely, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality Skills Proven experience in dental office settings or clinics with strong knowledge of dental terminology and medical coding practices Ability to perform medical administrative support tasks including appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and billing procedures Excellent customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance standards and health information management best practices Knowledge of dental terminology along with clinic experience to assist effectively during procedures and patient consultations Please join us in our small office, patient focused, team player, environment.
