Dental Hygienist

Overview Paid Continuing Education and travel for CE. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and a strong understanding of dental practices. This role involves providing high-quality hygiene services, educating patients on oral health, and assisting the dental team in delivering comprehensive care. A commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment while adhering to all regulatory guidelines is essential. Responsibilities Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages, including pediatric dentistry. Conduct patient assessments, including taking vital signs and documenting medical histories. Utilize dental terminology effectively while communicating with patients and staff. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care tailored to their needs. Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety. Utilize / learn Dentrix for documentation review and patient management. Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care in both general dentistry and specialized areas. Experience Experienced hygienists, or new grads welcome. Proficient knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and infection control practices. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
