Responsibilities Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote long-term dental health. Conduct patient assessments, including medical history review and dental examinations, to identify potential issues. Operate dental imaging equipment for X-rays and other diagnostic images while maintaining proper infection control protocols. Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, ensuring accuracy using Dentrix Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
