Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care and be knowledgeable in various aspects of dental hygiene, for a general dentist. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and promoting oral health.

Responsibilities:

Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits. Take and review medical histories, including vital signs, to ensure patient safety. Conduct medical imaging procedures as needed, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Review documentation for accuracy and completeness in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures as required. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

Experience in a dental office setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health. Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices is a plus. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and education. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
