Summary As a Dental Hygienist at Kiddsmiles, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality dental care to children. This position involves assessing patients' oral health, providing preventative care, and educating families about proper dental hygiene practices. Responsibilities Perform thorough patient assessments and document findings accurately. Administer preventative dental care including cleanings and fluoride treatments. Educate patients and their families on proper oral hygiene techniques and nutrition. Assist the dentist during examinations . Maintain a clean and safe clinical environment following aseptic techniques. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality. Requirements Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice. Experience in pediatric dentistry preferred but not required. Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and aseptic techniques. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children and their parents. Familiarity with Dentrix.
