Dental Hygienist

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. You will play a crucial role in promoting oral health & educating patients. This position requires proficiency in both general and pediatric dentistry, as well as familiarity with EagleSoft. Duties Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and periodontal therapy for patients of all ages. Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation review in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure a safe clinical environment. Collaborate with dentists to provide exceptional patient care during examinations and treatments. Utilize Eaglesoft for patient management and record keeping. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and the importance of regular dental visits. Stay informed about advancements in dental hygiene practices and participate in continuing education opportunities. Requirements Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. Proficiency in digital imaging techniques. Strong knowledge of anatomy, infection control procedures, and general dentistry practices. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism at all times.
