Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Hygienist and become a vital part of delivering exceptional oral health care! Our full-time position will be available this May as one of our wonderful hygienists is retiring. We are seeking a hygienist passionate about making a difference and ready to work with a patient-centered integrative approach to patient care. The ideal candidate would be excited to learn about all aspects of biologic dentistry and the oral-systemic connection. In this role, you will provide comprehensive dental hygiene services, promote patient education, and support the overall efficiency of our dental practice. Your expertise will help foster a welcoming environment where patients feel cared for, informed, and confident in their dental health journey. We are seeking energetic, detail-oriented professionals committed to maintaining the highest standards of patient care and infection control. Duties Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup Conduct patient assessments and reviewing medical histories to ensure safe treatment procedures. Taking X-rays while adhering to all safety protocols and infection control standards Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, nutrition, and instruction to promote lifelong dental health Maintain accurate and detailed records using Open Dental, Dentimax, CBCT, and Itero scanner Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist with current certification in CPR and infection control procedures Proficiency in dental terminology, and documentation review for accurate records Excellent communication skills to educate patients effectively and collaborate with team members A passion for health and patient relationships!
