• Part-time, Full-time We are seeking a new dental hygiene graduate to join our family practice in South Windsor.

Full-time preferred, part-time acceptable ( at least 3 days/wk).

Proposed hours:

M (8-6), T (8-6), W (8-6), Fri (8-5). The position is open right now, we are managing to wait for new graduate to get CT license. The office is at a premier location at downtown South Windsor. Close to everything. The office has a very solid patient base, and has profound success in more than 20 years. We have a very passionate team. No gossip, no finger pointing. Staff are helping each other through the day. Some staff have plans to pursue further education in dental hygiene, nursing, even dental school. The office has strong tradition to help staff to pursue their dream. In general, the position is perfect for a new dental professional to sharpen skills, gain experience, and happily grow in career. New graduates are very encouraged to apply, and we are looking forward to meeting you. Specific job responsibilities include but not limited to:

• pt. screening include assessment of oral health , review of medical history, periodontal charting, oral cancer screens, head and neck inspection, dental charting and vital signs.
• full range of dental hygiene services , i.e. prophylaxis, scaling and root planning, application of fluoride and sealants.
• take digital x-rays
• treat-room set up, instrument sterilization
• treatment planning using softdent
